All those grandiose plans for change that accompany the holidays – pledges for a more organized office, a smaller waistline, or a stylish home – usually go unfulfilled. The reason, according to psychologist Elizabeth Moore, is that even with the best intentions, we feel overwhelmed at the prospect of tackling large tasks.
