I just got home from Los Angeles where I attended the Organizing Awards put on by the NAPO-LA chapter. They outdo themselves every year! This year the awards were at Hollywood's Raleigh Studios in the soundstage where "The Closer" TV show is filmed. The event was emceed by Kim Coles, from In Living Color and Living Single. The "sweeps" of the evening went to my friend Hellen for her show Neat and her book, and my friend Dorothy of the Hoarders show (of which she is both a producer and a frequently featured expert). Did you know that Hoarders is A&E's #1 show?
Pictured above is me with my friends John Trosko, Monica Ricci, and Justine Miceli. I sat at the Organize.com table with Organize.com's Deborah and Terry Shearer and their team, Monica, Aby Garvey, Krista Colvin, and Julie Morgenstern. Thank you, Organize.com, for the great evening!
Thank you to the LA chapter for all of their hard work putting on this event. It's become a "don't miss" socialpalooza weekend for organizers! Thank you to Avery Dennison for being the presenting sponsor and giver of the best goody bags ever! And thanks to everyone who voted for me for the book and website/blog categories. I appreciate your support.
Cheers,
