August’s theme at Connections For Women is "Power," and I really enjoyed writing this month’s article, because I have been around some amazing and powerful women lately… in New York, at the eWomen Network conference, and in my daily life in Austin. It’s so inspiring to figure out the common themes that make these women great, and I wrote this month’s article about how these themes relate to being organized.
Click here to read the article, called "Powerfully Organized: 5 Questions to Ask Yourself." As a teaser, here are the five questions:
- Am I clear about my goals?
- Does my personal environment support my goals, or hinder them?
- Am I taking advantage of my strengths?
- Am I repeating the same mistakes?
- Am I connected?
Comment here about your own thoughts on power… and how that relates to being organized. I think the "clarity" point is the most important, because people who are clear about what they want are so much better at managing their time, information, and belongings to make that vision happen.
What do you think?
When I read #4 I just cringed, because that is me all over; I just have a hard time learning from my mistakes.
I’m hoping that organization will equal serenity and peace of mind – but power would be good too!
