In September and October 2007, the U.S. Consumer Product and Safety Commission recalled more than 30 toys, many for lead hazards. The Clutter Diet’s founder and Chief Executive Organizer Lorie Marrero has the tips parents need to reorganize their toy collections and rid their homes of recalled toys.
“Parents are searching through their toy collections and trying to determine which toys to keep and which ones to discard,” said Clutter Diet’s Lorie Marrero. “The mounting toy recalls are very serious and should be addressed. People should take the necessary steps to rid them from a child’s environment and use this as an opportunity to get organized too.”
